Reply with quote | #1 | RJ asked the question of favorite or least favorite gig at the bottom of another post. In case people didn't see that, I've started a new post. I know I have a least favorite gig. I don't want to name towns, but it was a wedding dance in a nearby small town. The "gig" was in the town's "arena" with of course a dirt floor and truck bed for a stage. It was a hot and sticky night, mosquitos, etc. and because the nearby outhouse hadn't been cleaned in 10 years, I ended up peeing in a coffee can (which isn't easy for the female species) inside the band trailer. Needless to say I was a little crabby. One of my favorites wasn't well attended. It was the Borderline event up by Lake Metigoshe. Not many people there, but we as a band had a great time. kim |

Reply with quote | #2 | i would like to comment on the least favorite gig and the worst.the least favorite was in new town and i beleive it was the legion club any of you remember having to haul all your gear down the basement steps and half of your gear wouldn't fit the the stair case you know what place i'm talking about.my drum case that we named grandma well lets just say her ass was to big to fit down the stair case so we had to kind of undress her a little. as far as the best gig we ever had well i'd have to say that happened a week ago when whooz playin got together for practice.i only hope someof you other bands who waitng for other players to come home have the same experience that we did.can't explain it but when john berning and mike endrud walk threw the door it was better than old times.on saturday we even took the stage at the rockin horse you talk about trippen back to yesterday.reckless jefferson thank you for entertaining us on saturday nite what a awesome show.on sunday we all went and had breakfast and did somemore catching up.what a great gig.we learned we can still ride bike even at our age.
can't wait to see the rest of you players it's not far away.till then
